Welcome to Rising Waves Behavior Services

I began in the field of ABA in 2011 as a behavior technician. I immediately fell in love with the field and the amazing impact that ABA could have on children and families. I got my Master’s in Psychology in 2014 and began the process of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, becoming certified in 2016. I stand firm in providing compassionate, individual care for all children. I believe that ABA can be effective and FUN, and I love getting to know each child and family I work with, as well as assisting them to achieve their goals.

I received a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2023 without any idea of what would come next; I only knew I had a deep desire to help others. On my job hunt, I saw an ad describing the role of a registered behavior technician and decided to apply for the job. Not even two weeks with my first clients, and I was head over heels with the job and immediately applied to go back to school and get my masters in ABA. With almost two years in the field, I have found that my passion for kids and teens with autism has grown beyond what I imagined possible. I continuously look forward to my future, knowing I'm working in a field that fulfills and inspires me daily. Rising Waves is my dream come true.
